Black Friday 2016

Hey Guys, I know this post is going up later than anticipated, but I really didn't have time to post immediately after Black Friday. Plus, I also wanted to space out my content instead of posting everything back to back, and then not knowing what else to talk about, lol.

Nonetheless, Black Friday was a success. I didn't go on a full out shopping spree, but I did invest in my wardrobe and snagged some great deals while doing so. Now, I know you were probably hoping for pictures of everything I bought, and I really wanted to do that but it was an EPIC FAILURE. Literally, the pictures came out horrible. I figured, I would just figure out nice outfits, and show them off rather than take pictures of the individual pieces and post them.

But that does not mean I won't tell you all what I decided to purchase. So here it goes!

JCPenny (not pictured): Red Velvet Blazer - $40.00, originally price - $140.00
H&M:Grey Hoodie ($20) and Brown Knit Sweater ($10)
G. H. Bass & Co.:Mallard Classic Duck Boot ($80, orginially $135)
J. Crew:Vest ($35, orginially $80)
By the way, everything linked are similar pieces, everything in the store was not online, I just found similar pieces.

I don't think I did too bad, honestly. I didn't over indulge, and that was completely fine. I feel as though, I purchased staple pieces in my wardrobe that will help enhance my style. It's not always about having many articles of clothing, it's about essential pieces that can be worn in multiple outfits in multiple ways. That's the creativity in fashion! Styling the same piece in many different ways! Lord knows I love this!

I also went thrifting and found some great pieces. Be on the look out for thrifting post soon. Hope you enjoyed your Black Friday!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! Long time no speak?  I know. I've been away with the stresses of school and life taking over and forcing my focus elsewhere, but I'm back! I feel like I say this way too much, I've got to be on it more.

Anyways, it's Thanksgiving and there is an endless list of things that I am beyond thankful for.  God has just been so good to me this year, and I am forever grateful! Tonight, I will spending time with my family indulging in delicious delicacies while tuning in to the Dallas Cowboys football game, the best team in America. Haha, it's a family tradition! After some food digestion and maybe a quick nap, I'll be heading out with my best friends to do some Black Friday Shopping, and I will definitely be updating you all on that!

My original intentions were for this blog to be a Fashion and Lifestyle blog. I would share all of my fashion advice, my outfits, different types tips and tricks that I did in my life on the daily. At first, I was so far from achieving this goal because I had no camera, I had no idea what I was doing, and yeah ... so that happened.  But now, I've recently invested in my dreams and I really want this blog to flourish, so I did what was needed. Now, I will be investing more time and energy, updating you guys on my life, my fashion tips, and different things to ensure that you all are receiving GREAT content from me.

All of the outfit pieces that I have linked are not the exact pieces I have, I've had all of these articles of clothing from a month to up to a year, and a lot of them aren't on the websites anymore. However, I did my best to find similar pieces, so that you may purchase if you choose so. My sweater is originally from H&M, but the one i linked is from Topman, which is another great clothing company for men and women based in the United Kingdom.  The jeans are from Forever21 and my boots were purchased from Payless Shoes about two years ago. Everything I linked is under $50, and you will look amazing if you style it right.

Guys, I'm so excited to get back into blogging and sharing content with you all! Let's get ready for some great things!

Happy Holiday Season!!!
